G'day! I'm Drew from Australia and I'm 20 years old and been a part of the Start since November 2, 2006 (which I can still remember), just a few days before the first Brisbane show. My major contribution to U2start (along with someone else here) was the Actual Status text next to your location in your Profile. It's only small, but something different.
I think (or I like to think) that I became a U2 fan immediately (literally) right after hearing Kite back in 2000 from All That You Can't Leave Behind - that song has something about it.
I currently work in marketing and enjoying it immensely, three or four months in, and pretty much I enjoy four things: U2 and music like rock and pop (and U2start), app / web / development / technology - you'll see my Actual Status as U2start Technician, with good reason, or so I'm led to believe), video games and having fun whenever possible (which is usually all the time).
My favourite U2 album to date is still The Unforgettable Fire followed very closely by Pop - and my favourite live song is either Bad or All I Want Is You, and my most favourite two U2 items would be the Vertigo 2005 sunglasses Bono wears and all the bootlegs.
So there you go.
PS: On my Profile, I'd say Bono has jumped about three million times to date, and believe it or not, he keeps jumping. |
