I used to coach cross country and would say that songs like "Vertigo" and "Elevation" are great choices. You want something familiar, and who can go wrong with a smashing drum beat... Uno, dos, tres, catorce! And they are typically enjoyed by others that might not necessarily be U2 fans.

I also agree with Elevation. God Pt. II? I have that on every one of my workout playlists

1) Zoo Station (Calling the White House) [I know, live, but whatever]
2) Elevation (Tomb Raider Mix)
3) Mofo (Phunk Phorce Mix) [yes, seriously lol ]
4) EBTTRT (Sarajevo.... Fuck the past, kiss the Future...) [I know its live, and your looking for Album versions, but maybe for when your running alone]
those are only a few, the rest are from boots that you said you can't use
