anyway here's something I'll get shot for, but how about dropping All I Want is You? I felt like it was a bit stale on the last tour. Obviously not overplayed, but lacking something, whether it be the energy in Bono's voice, or something like that. Can't put my finger on the reason for this, but all I know is that I really only liked the Milan version on this tour.
I think the Buenos Aires version is brilliant, with Bono's little ad lib piece on the acoustic. I don't think it should be dropped, personally, I think it's a great number - the Milan version is uber because it segued well into COBL, but COBL itself wasn't anything special on that show...my favourite versions still are PopMart, even though they lacked the solo - just the way it all built up into a massive crescendo from fairly quiet beginnings etc...
There's a big difference between influences and obvious influences (I know that sounds vague or redundant lol, but you know what I mean...).

Disappointed indeed, because I for one certainly feel that it lacked that U2 feel. I mean, to be honest, I'm no major fan of the Beatles which is another part of my dislike for WITS (because of the Beatles feel) although that said, I'm sitting at my laptop wearing a Beatles t-shirt I bought from the official exhibition in Liverpool 4-5 years ago lol...

when i first heard it i thought, and still do, that it's kind of the ultimate song....think of what every song is trying to convey in one sense or another, "oh can't you see what love has done".....that's more or less a theme in every song....U2 just articulated it for what it is
