When the new tour comes, perhaps as a community we can come together. When the tour starts, perhaps we can add a new section and with it, post each show's setlist and see if there is a possible recording. Of course, they take time to show up. However with each topic we can judge which recording is best and use it for our humble site. Any thoughts?

Well I thought I would be great I we get some solid ALD or Soundboard recordings. Although the last thing is not likely to happen, I thought if some of us are getting a chance to record an ALD... that would be perfect. Maybe I can organise that myself when I go to one of their shows, if I got the acess and are able to record it and know how that stuff works...

Discussions, shows, setlists and recordings from the new tour will all be well catered for so dont be worrying about that.

Yep, there will be a tour forum where room will be made for new bootlegs, setlist discussions, photos etc We will organise that well when it all begins. Just as for the new album where we talk about now.
And we will have a live synchronisation with u2gigs.com which will provide us setlists and other show information for the bootlegs section.

I've renamed the topic - let's all use this one for any suggestions about the bootlegs, ideas for the future, errors on the pages. In conjunction with the error reporting topics for audio and video bootlegs, this should cover us.
Please avoid starting a new topic just to ask a one-off question about bootlegs. Post it here

While I myself am no longer worried by the incorrect file names, I was thinking others will be deceived as well .

Deception is not the aim. We dont rename the files so if the originals were incorrectly named then so will ours. The setlists on the bootleg pages are correct so you know what your getting before you even download.
